Service Projects

As a MOMS Club chapter, we are required to complete one service project a year.  However, we frequently end up doing multiple projects each year.  Service activities are a wonderful way for moms to get to know one another while also getting involved in the community.

In the past we have participated in projects benefiting: the American SIDS Institute, the Florence Crittendon Agency, the Serenity Shelter, Angelic Ministries (a disaster relief organization), the Mother-to-Mother relief fund, the Salvation Army, Care Packages for the Troops, Interfaith Hospitality Network, Children’s Hospital, the Kent Withers Family Center, Fort Sanders Healing Hearts, Second Harvest food bank, and the Fantasy of Trees benefiting East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

In 2011-2012 we are excited to be working with the Knoxville Ronald McDonald House on a year-long service project.  This charity houses families of children who are hospitalized at children's hospital or who are receiving ongoing treatment.  We can’t think of a better charity to be involved with, and look forward to working with them.
